idGuides is an Indonesia-based outdoor field skills and expeditions organisation founded and overseen by a British female expedition leader and development practitioner  with 20 years experience leading youth, adventure and scientific expeditions in Indonesia, Africa and Central America. idGuides’ mission is to expand safe exploration of the Indonesian outdoors, through responsible trek operation and training Indonesian trekking and mountain guides.

idGuides can help your school or youth group to run responsible and interesting expeditions/ International Award (DofE) / adventure and conservation projects close to home and across Indonesia, and to develop enduing relationships contributing long term to student and community, ecosystems and climate. Make use of our expedition experience and extensive network of contacts to develop your outdoor programme, to build youth teamwork and confidence.

idGuides will meet your team to discuss specific requirements, concerns, issues. We tailor all schools/youth expedition and skills programmes specifically for the groups’ collective ability and to meet the schools’ particular objectives. Our proposals provide in depth details of itinerary, activities, what to wear/bring, price per person, and a full risk assessment and operational field plan. We always recommend a parent intro meeting in advance of all projects. We require parental consent and submission of participant medical/allergy/emergency contact details.

Contact us info@idguides.org now to discuss educational programmes for the academic year 2015/2016.
